Butch's Lil' America Builders Scholarship

This scholarship has been established in memory of Myron “Butch” Ledworowski. Butch established Lil’ America Builders, Inc as a home remodeling business nearly 30 years ago. His goal was “to provide exceptional service, design, & product delivered with credibility and trust”. A secondary goal was “to make the, typically, stressful remodeling experience fun”. His business thrived on repeat customers and direct referrals. After getting his degree in industrial arts, Butch developed a strong interest in technical education. For many years he served on the education committee of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) as well as serving on Madison College’s Construction and Remodeling Advisory committee. Butch helped plan and/or participated in many workshops designed to promote professionalism and ethics in the remodeling industry. This scholarship is available to full-time Construction & Remodeling program students with a 2.5 grade point average or higher who have expressed an interest in owning their own home remodeling business and construction management.
